solved:weird problem with nfs mounts

#1

Post by pumo »

I changed my LTE router from zyxel lte3301 to huawei E5186 couple days ago.
after that I got problem with NFS mounts, or those doesnt work with my computers, one is ubuntu and another is debian server.
I have one satellitebox which uses nfs mounts from same nas4free server and there it works. also smb mounts does work with windows.
every nfs mounts are with IP address.
so my network topology is:
internet - E5186 - Asus RTN66U - internal network.
I havent change any IPs so E5186 is even same address 192.168.1.1 that old modem had.
All computers have this .1 as a gateway.
I even tested and I put that old Zyxel back to online and zap all nfs mounts get working
Please help What is wrong ?

when mounting manually it :

Code: Select all

$ sudo mount -v -t nfs 192.168.1.200:/mnt/tank/stuff /mnt/stuff/
mount.nfs: timeout set for Fri Sep 30 17:57:38 2016
mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'vers=4,addr=192.168.1.200,clientaddr=192.168.1.100'

strangely I got this working.
I added all my computer name and IPs to Nas4free Network|Hosts.
I dont know why it helps because I use IP address to mounts and all devices are in same network.
